The genesis
At Gérardmer, the cradle of the textile industry, the Ceramiq® team initially developed the Ceramiq® technology to provide a solution to professionals working in difficult conditions.
Our technical multilayer laminated fabrics were first intended for specific industrial applications and especially as protective clothing for the military and police.
Over time and through numerous sports partnerships, a 100% French brand dedicated to high-level sports has emerged.
The search for comfort and performance
Our goal is to provide the most comfortable product possible while allowing the athlete to achieve 100% of their physical capabilities.
The expertise of our designers, in collaboration with our many athletes and ambassadors, allows us to validate the shapes and material choices to align as closely as possible with the highest requirements.
Many users of our products have the feeling of not noticing the clothes when practicing their discipline; a fundamental quality for comfort and improvement of sports performance.
A sport-team relationship at the core of everything
Ceramiq® equips many sports clubs and supports high-level athletes in their victories. It is thanks to them that we evolve our products to position ourselves as a reference in the outdoor sports sector.
As soon as a new model is developed, we call on athletes to test our clothing in real situations so that we can integrate the constraints and requirements specific to each of the disciplines they practice.
Most sports are represented in our panel, trail-running, athletics, triathlon, cycling, canoeing, winter sports, team sports, not to mention indoor sports (fitness, crossfit, boxing, gymnastics...) as well as motor sports cars and motorcycles. This proximity and shared trust have become for us the guarantee of being able to offer you, through our Ceramiq® brand, the best possible technical clothing.

Ceramiq®
Sportswear Ceramiq® benefits from a unique technology for extraordinary sports sensations.
When it's cool, the Ceramiq® technology helps increase the garment's internal temperature while maintaining the fabric's breathability, resulting in a very high thermal comfort even in extreme conditions.
This technology, printed on the fabric, is the result of the fusion of about thirty metal oxides, coming from volcanic rocks from Japan.

Today more than ever, we continue every day to think about the technical clothing of tomorrow. The one that allows athletes to feel good and optimize their performance.
Our patented technology originates from a base of volcanic rock from Japan. Crushed into fine particles, it is incorporated into a polymer printed on the fabric surface.
Appreciated by athletes, but also by a clientele facing the vagaries of harsh weather (police, military, construction...), it helps to block far infrared, this wavelength that the human body emits when it loses heat and when it releases energy.
These textile developments were awarded the Innovation Prize from the Vosges Chamber of Commerce in 2011 and the BFM RMC Trophy "SME let's get moving" in 2013.
Eco-design

Ceramiq® clothing is made with materials developed by us, in partnership with European factories (in Germany, Italy, and France), to ensure a consistency of our supplies and to perfectly control our manufacturing.
The technology application (ceramic application and finishing treatment) is carried out by us directly in our workshops in Gérardmer in the Vosges.
The manufacturing in Tunisia allows us to greatly reduce the carbon footprint of our products and all our industrial partners produce materials that comply with Oeko-Tex® and Reach regulations.
Our finishing treatments are Bluesign® certified and we systematically seek out products that are most environmentally friendly.
